Inspection Services

We offer a wide range of professional third-party inspection services in Bangladesh to ensure safety, compliance, and quality across various marine, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. Our certified inspection engineers deliver accurate assessments and detailed reports to help you minimize risks and maintain operational integrity and asset safety.

What are Inspection Services?

Inspection services involve the professional assessment and examination of assets like industrial equipment, structures, and materials to ensure they meet required safety standards and project specifications. This process includes:

  • Interpretation of technical specifications and drawings

  • Precise measurement of dimensions and critical parameters

  • Selection of calibrated inspection instruments and gauges

  • Comparison between specified requirements and measured values

  • Making informed decisions based on quality inspection findings

Industrial inspection services serve three primary purposes in quality control:

  • To verify if products or assets conform to specifications

  • To determine the disposition of non-conforming products

  • To provide clear communication to all stakeholders

In business, asset inspection represents the critical evaluation of systems and components through examination, testing, and measurement – forming a vital component of manufacturing quality control and operational safety.

Objectives of Inspection Services

The key objectives of professional inspection services include:

  • Identifying defective components and separating them from non-defective parts

  • Preventing defective parts from reaching the customer through early detection

  • Finding flaws and defects in raw material quality

  • Identifying rejected parts during work in progress (WIP) to prevent further processing

  • Reducing overall rejection rates (PPM) through continuous quality monitoring

  • Protecting customer satisfaction and building company reputation by ensuring quality standards

  • Detecting sources of weakness and potential product failure to verify design integrity

Why do we need anInspection

Professional inspection services are essential because they:

  • Separate defective components from non-defective ones through quality verification

  • Capture rejected parts during WIP stages, saving costs on further processing

  • Prevent faulty products from reaching the end-customer

  • Identify manufacturing defects and risk management errors early in production

  • Stop additional work on defective products, reducing waste and rework costs

  • Protect brand reputation by maintaining consistent product quality standards

  • Enable data-driven decisions on non-conforming materials

  • Improve coordination between quality control, production, and purchasing departments

  • Identify manufacturing shortcomings and opportunities for process improvement

What are the methods of Inspection?

1. 100% Inspection

This type will involve careful Inspection of quality at each strategic point or stage of manufacture where the test applied is non-destructive, and every piece is separately inspected. It requires more inspectors, and hence it is a costly method. There is no sampling error. This is subjected to inspection error arising out of fatigue, negligence, the difficulty of supervision, etc.  Hence complete accuracy of influences is seldom attained.

It is suitable only when a small number of pieces are there or a very high degree of quality is required.
Examples of 100% Inspection: Jet engines, Aircraft, Medical, and Scientific equipment.

100% inspection is not preferred in the industry for mass production due to the following reasons

The cost required for Inspection is more as compared to sampling inspection.
The time needed for Inspection is more.
The operator suffers from inspection fatigue.
More staff is required for Inspection.
Due to more handling, the chances of damage increase.
100% Inspection is not possible where destructive testing is required.

2. Sampling

In this method, randomly selected samples are inspected. Samples taken from different batches of products are representative. If the sample proves defective. The real concern is to be rejected or recovered.

Sampling inspection is cheaper and quicker. It requires fewer inspectors. Its subjected to sampling errors, but the magnitude of sampling error can be estimated.
In the case of destructive tests, random or sampling Inspection is desirable.
This type of Inspection governs wide currency due to the introduction of the automatic machine of equipment which is less susceptible to chance variable and hence require less Inspection, suitable for Inspection of products that have less precision importance and are less costly.
